VIVRIN AI PTE. LTD. (“VIVRIN AI”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the Aimo platform, including the Aimo browser extension (“Service”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal data when you use our Service, in accordance with the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”).

By using Aimo, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information. When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address or phone number
• Username and display name
• Password (stored in hashed form)
• Authentication tokens from third-party identity providers (if you use SSO/OAuth)

1.2 User Content. When you use the Service, you may provide:

• Memos, notes, and text content
• Uploaded files, images, audio, and video
• Web pages, text selections, and conversations you explicitly choose to save via the browser extension
• Tags, bookmarks, and organizational metadata
• Checklist items and task data

1.3 AI-Processed Data. When you use AI-powered features, we process:

• Memo content for AI tag generation and normalization
• Text content for semantic search indexing
• Queries for AI-powered search
• Conversations with AI agents
• Audio files for transcription

1.4 Automatically Collected Information. We automatically collect:

• Session information (login time, session duration)
• Activity logs (memo creation, edits, deletions)
• Device and browser type (via HTTP headers)
• IP address

1.5 Browser Extension. The Aimo browser extension only reads the content of a web page when you explicitly trigger an action (saving a page, clipping a selection, importing a conversation, or asking the AI about a page). It does not track your browsing history, and it does not read or transmit page content in the background.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide the Service — Store and display your memos, manage your account, sync across devices
• Power AI Features — Generate tags, perform semantic search, run AI agents, and transcribe audio
• Improve the Service — Analyze usage patterns, fix bugs, develop new features
• Ensure Security — Detect and prevent unauthorized access, fraud, and abuse
• Communicate — Send service-related notifications (e.g., password resets, security alerts)

We do not use your personal content for advertising purposes, and we do not sell your personal data.

3. AI Processing and Third-Party Models

Our AI features may use third-party AI model providers to process your data. This includes:

• Tag generation and normalization — Your memo content may be sent to AI model providers for analysis
• Semantic search — Text embeddings may be generated using third-party models
• AI agents — Conversations may be processed by third-party language models
• Audio transcription — Audio files may be sent to third-party transcription services

We select AI providers that maintain appropriate data protection standards. Your content sent to these providers is used solely for processing your request and is not used to train their models (subject to each provider's enterprise terms).

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers — Third-party AI model providers, cloud hosting providers, and infrastructure services that help us operate the Service
• Legal Requirements — When required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request
• Safety — To protect the rights, property, or safety of VIVRIN AI, our users, or the public
• Business Transfers — In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (you will be notified)

5. Data Storage and Security

• Your data is stored on secure servers located in Singapore
• We use encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest where applicable
• Passwords are cryptographically hashed and never stored in plaintext
• Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis
• We conduct regular security reviews of our infrastructure

While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

• Account Data — Retained for as long as your account is active
• User Content — Retained until you delete it or close your account
• Activity Logs — Retained for up to 12 months for security and operational purposes
• Deleted Content — Permanently removed from our systems within 30 days of deletion

When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, unless retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights Under PDPA

Under the Singapore PDPA, you have the right to:

• Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data
• Withdrawal of Consent — Withdraw your consent for data collection and use (this may affect your ability to use the Service)
• Data Portability — Request your data in a structured, commonly used format

To exercise these rights, contact us via the channel listed in Section 12. We will respond to your request within 30 days.

8. Cookies and Session Data

We use essential cookies for:

• Session Management — Maintaining your login session
• Preferences — Remembering your language and theme settings

We do not use third-party tracking cookies or analytics cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

Aimo is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

10. International Data Transfers

If you access the Service from outside Singapore, your data may be transferred to and processed in Singapore. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place for any international data transfers.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
